Biography

Leopold Socha was a Polish worker who lived through one of history's darkest periods. Born in 1909 in Gliwice, he witnessed the transformations of his homeland throughout the early twentieth century.

Socha's life came to an end in 1945, a year that marked both the conclusion of World War II and the beginning of Europe's long process of recovery and remembrance. He was laid to rest in Gliwice Central Cemetery, where his memory endures among those who lived through these tumultuous years.
