Biography
Les Cranfill, born in 1899, dedicated himself to guiding young people through the trials of adolescence, offering encouragement and unwavering belief in their potential. His students remembered him as a kind-eyed mentor who celebrated every accomplishment, big or small.
Even in retirement he remained a steady advisor and friend, and when he passed in 1983 the Forest Park Cemetery plot where he rests became a place where former pupils gather to recount the lessons of kindness he taught.
