Biography

Lesley Ann Downey was a bright, playful child whose laughter filled the homes around her school and whose future was full of promise.

Her disappearance and murder in 1964 shocked the country, and her family and community continue to honour her memory at Southern Cemetery while advocating for the safety of all children.
