Biography
Leszek Starkel was a distinguished geologist whose research advanced understanding of geological processes and Earth sciences in Poland. His scholarly work and fieldwork contributed meaningfully to geological knowledge and education throughout his productive career.
His legacy in geological science and his contributions to the field were recognized by the academic community. He was laid to rest at Rakowicki Cemetery.
