Lev Mendelson (1898–1962) was a Russian economist whose scholarly work contributed to Soviet economic thought and policy. His career encompassed the industrialization period and the development of Soviet economic systems.

Mendelson's intellectual legacy is preserved in the historical record, and he was laid to rest at Vagankovo Cemetery, where Moscow's prominent intellectuals are commemorated.
