Lev Sedov
1906–1938 (age 32)
Biography
Lev Sedov, son of Leon Trotsky, studied mathematics before dedicating himself to the Left Opposition; he acted as an editor and organizer of exile networks, striving to keep socialist debates alive beyond Soviet borders.
From Paris he directed underground publications, coordinated fellow exiles, and sought to bring clarity to the fractures within the revolutionary movement, even as illness and exile limited his years and he died in 1938.
