Biography

Levi T. Griffin pursued a legal career in Michigan before winning election to the U.S. House of Representatives, where he advocated for the interests of Detroit’s citizens and the broader industrial interests of the Great Lakes region.

Outside of Congress he lent his steady counsel to civic institutions in Detroit, supporting educational endeavors and the orderly expansion of the city.
