Biography
Lew was an Eastern Orthodox priest who dedicated his life to spiritual ministry during the early Soviet period. As a man of faith, he served his congregation and maintained religious traditions during a time of increasing state pressure on religious institutions.
He was executed in 1937 during the Great Purge, a campaign that claimed the lives of countless clergy and believers. His remains were interred at Levashovo Memorial Cemetery, a site that commemorates the victims of Soviet political repression.
