Biography
Lewis C. Cassidy (1829–1889) devoted his career to the law and public service, serving as Pennsylvania Attorney General and using his influence to promote legal reforms and accountable government.
He also worked to expand access to public schools and to assure the legal profession upheld high standards, and he is buried with honors at Laurel Hill Cemetery, remembered for his principled leadership.
