Biography

Lewis J. Selznick rose from theatrical management to producing early feature films, founding Selznick Pictures and bringing star-driven storytelling to the growing Hollywood studios.

He mentored young talent, including his sons David and Myron, and though his studios faced ups and downs he left a legacy of professionalism that endures at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, where he was laid to rest.
