Biography

Lidmila Hostomská (1907–1998) was a Czech endocrinologist whose medical career contributed to advances in understanding endocrine disorders and related health conditions. Born in the early twentieth century, she pursued scientific medicine during a period of significant medical progress and institutional development in Czechoslovakia.

Hostomská passed away in 1998 and was laid to rest at Olšany Cemetery in Prague. Her career in medical science represents the contributions of Czech women physicians to twentieth-century medicine and healthcare.
