Biography
Lindley H. Hadley, born in 1861, moved from the classroom and courtroom into the halls of Congress, representing the state of Washington with a steady hand for many terms and championing the needs of settlers, farmers, and growing towns.
After leaving office, he remained a respected counselor whose knowledge of federal and regional concerns kept him engaged with civic life, and he now rests in Saint Matthew's Parish Cemetery.
