Biography
Lionel Clarence Walker, born in 1917, embraced a deep sense of responsibility as the world moved toward conflict. He quickly became known among friends and family for his calm leadership and steady demeanour in the face of uncertainty.
In 1944 he stood with his fellow servicemen as they pressed on toward liberation, offering courage and support even when danger was near. He fell during that campaign and now lies at Bayeux War Cemetery, honored always for the strength he shared with others.
