Biography
Lloyd Fredendall, born 1883, entered the Army as a young officer and served through both world wars, carrying a strong sense of responsibility for the soldiers entrusted to him.
In his later years he focused on training and mentoring younger commanders, sharing hard-earned lessons about logistics and leadership while reminding them of the value of looking after their troops, and he passed in 1963 with the gratitude of many men he had led.
