Lloyd Ingraham, born in 1874, was a fixture of early American cinema, beginning on the stage before turning to silent-film acting and directing, where he guided heartfelt dramas and spirited comedies with a steady hand.

Later he returned to acting, offering experienced character work and mentoring younger performers before being laid to rest at Chapel of the Pines Crematory.
