Lloyd M. Bradfield
1901–1986 (age 85)
Biography
Lloyd M. Bradfield came of age in the fertile hills surrounding Pine Ridge, where he became known as a thoughtful steward of orchards and a patient neighbor. Through the lean years of the Depression and the turmoil of mid-century change, he kept a steady hand on his family's land, making sure there was always a place for friends and relatives to gather.
He guided younger relatives in the rhythms of the harvest and in the quiet joys of craftwork, and his ready laugh was a balm for anyone facing doubt. His family takes comfort knowing he now rests at Pine Ridge Cemetery, the slice of earth where he poured so much of his care.
