Lorenzo Coffin (1823-1915) spent his long life bound to the rhythms of the land, balancing practical farming with a deep commitment to fairness and to the welfare of his neighbors. He could always be counted on to stand for what he believed would strengthen rural communities and keep families secure.

His resting place at the Lorenzo S. Coffin Burial Plot remains a place for reflection on his enduring example of determination and goodwill.
