Biography
Lorenzo Crounse, born in 1834, studied law and later answered the call to public service, eventually guiding Nebraska as its sixth governor with a commitment to justice and the rule of law.
Even after leaving the governor's office he remained a mentor to younger leaders, and he was laid to rest in Fort Calhoun Cemetery, where visitors can still feel the echo of his steady leadership.
