Biography
Lothar Messerschmidt was a respected German judge whose judicial career reflected a commitment to law and justice. His work in the German legal system spanned much of the latter twentieth century.
Messerschmidt's contributions to the administration of justice and the rule of law are part of Germany's legal heritage. He was laid to rest at Parkfriedhof Lichterfelde, where his memory is preserved among his peers.
