Louis-Auguste Bosseboeuf (1852–1928) was a French historian whose scholarly work contributed to the preservation and understanding of French regional and local history. His dedication to historical research reflected the nineteenth-century passion for documenting and preserving the past.

Bosseboeuf's historical writings and research helped establish important records of French heritage and culture. He is buried in the cimetière de Semblançay, where his contributions to historical scholarship are honored.
