Biography

Louis Bouillery was a French resident of the nineteenth century whose life unfolded during a period of significant social and political change in France. Born in 1823, he lived through the transformations that marked the Second Empire and the early years of the Third Republic.

Bouillery's fifty-year life reflected the experiences of his generation, witnessing the modernization and evolution of French society. He was interred in Père Lachaise Cemetery, the distinguished burial ground of Paris.
