Biography
Louis Brennan (1852-1932) was an Irish-born inventor whose ingenious mind produced the Brennan torpedo and a range of gyroscopic and guided devices that helped transform engineering practice in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
He continued to refine his ideas while serving both military and commercial interests, leaving a legacy of inventive resilience and being laid to rest at St Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Kensal Green.
