Biography

Louis Broudoux was a dedicated resistance fighter who played an active role in the French underground movement during World War II. Born in 1903, he joined others in dangerous clandestine operations to combat Nazi occupation and support the eventual liberation of France.

Broudoux's commitment to the resistance cause led to his death in 1945, as the war in Europe drew to a close. He is honored as a patriot who gave his life for French freedom, with his final resting place in Somain Communal Cemetery serving as a memorial to his sacrifice.
