Biography
Louis de Beaufront spent decades championing Esperanto, convinced that a shared auxiliary tongue would help neighbors across borders understand each other more deeply.
From Marestmontiers, he nurtured correspondence, conferences, and the camaraderie of speakers and is remembered for the generosity with which he introduced the language to curious minds.
