Louis-Victor-Léon de Rochechouart was a French military officer born in 1788 during the final years of the ancien régime. He pursued a military career that spanned the revolutionary, Napoleonic, and restoration periods, serving through some of France's most turbulent decades.
De Rochechouart died in 1858 at the age of 70, having devoted much of his life to military service. He was laid to rest in Père Lachaise Cemetery, honoring his years of dedication to France.
