Biography

Louise-Marie-Céline de Luppé was a member of the French nobility whose life reflected the social and cultural circumstances of aristocratic families during the nineteenth century. Though her life was relatively brief, she maintained connections to the distinguished traditions and social circles of her elevated station.

Her interment at Père Lachaise Cemetery, the resting place of many prominent Parisians, reflects the prominence of her family and the respect accorded to her memory within French society of her time.
