Biography

Luba Kadison brought the passionate language of Yiddish theater to audiences across the globe as a founding member of the Vilna Troupe and later as a performer on New York's Second Avenue scene. Her acting captured both the humor and the gravitas of the Jewish experience, creating characters that resonated with immigrants and theatergoers alike.

She spent later years teaching drama, preserving the stories of her generation, and inspiring new performers with her devotion to cultural heritage; she lived to see a century of change and was laid to rest at Mount Hebron Cemetery in 2006.
