Biography

Lucien Arrufat was born in 1920 in Ivry-sur-Seine and worked as an electrician, a skilled trade essential to the industrial and urban infrastructure of the Paris region. He grew up during the interwar years and came of age as Nazi Germany rose to power and threatened European peace.
