Lucy Ann Brown

Biography

Lucy Ann Brown was born in 1793 and lived during a transformative era in American history. She was part of a generation of women whose lives, though often less documented than their male contemporaries, were essential to the building and maintenance of their communities.

Brown passed away in 1853 at the age of 60 and was laid to rest at Carvers Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery. Her resting place reflects her connection to her faith community and the values that guided her life.
