Biography
Ludvík Rosauer (1873–1960) lived an exceptionally long life, witnessing the transformation of Central Europe from the Austro-Hungarian Empire through the establishment and development of Czechoslovakia. His nearly nine decades provided a unique perspective on the region's dramatic historical changes.
Rosauer is remembered in the Cemetery in Prostějov, where he was laid to rest. His longevity allowed him to bridge different eras of Czech history, making him a living connection to the 19th century.
