Biography
Ludwik Sitowski was a distinguished Polish zoologist whose scientific career spanned much of the twentieth century. Born in 1880, he dedicated his professional life to the study of animal life and contributed to the advancement of zoological knowledge in Poland.
Sitowski's legacy as a scientist and scholar extended throughout his long life until his death in 1947. He was interred at Jean-Marie Vianney cemetery in Poznań, where he is remembered as a dedicated naturalist and researcher.
