Lyman K. Bass

Biography

Lyman K. Bass (1836–1889) earned recognition as a Buffalo attorney and served in the U.S. House of Representatives, where he worked for the interests of western New York during the post–Civil War era.

After his congressional service he returned to private law practice and continued to support the region’s institutions, resting today at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
