Lyubov Kusheleva was a notable Russian art collector and patron of the arts who lived during the early 19th century. Born in 1783, she was part of the cultivated aristocratic circles of St. Petersburg that fostered artistic and cultural development.
Kusheleva's passion for collecting and supporting the arts reflected the refined tastes of the Russian nobility of her era. She passed away in 1809 at a relatively young age and was laid to rest at Lazarev Cemetery, leaving behind a legacy of cultural patronage.
