Mad Dog Coll, born Vincent Coll in 1908, rose from immigrant roots to become a notorious figure in Prohibition-era New York, leading a gang noted for daring hijackings and violent confrontations.
Though his life ended in 1932 amid the turmoil of the criminal underworld, he was laid to rest at Saint Raymond's Cemetery, where his gravesite marks one chapter of the city’s history.
