Magda Leja was a Polish screenwriter whose work contributed to Polish cinema during the latter half of the twentieth century. Her creative talents helped shape narratives for film during a significant period in Polish cultural history.

Leja's legacy remains part of Poland's cinematic heritage, preserved in the works she helped bring to the screen. She was laid to rest in the Northern Communal Cemetery in Warsaw, a final resting place that honors many of Poland's cultural figures.
