Maksymilian Maudrych

Biography

Maksymilian Maudrych (1852–1934) was a Polish cobbler who represented the skilled artisan class of his era. His long life spanned significant transformations in Polish society, from the late 19th century through the early decades of independence.

Maudrych's craft as a cobbler connected him to the everyday life and community of Bydgoszcz. He was laid to rest in the Cmentarz Starofarny, Bydgoszcz's historic cemetery, where he joined generations of the city's residents.
