Biography

Marcantonio Borghese, 5th Prince of Sulmona, was an Italian nobleman and politician of the eighteenth century. Born in 1730, he embodied the aristocratic traditions of the Papal States and Italian nobility.

As a member of the prominent Borghese family, Marcantonio wielded influence in political and social spheres of his era. His tenure as Prince of Sulmona reflected the responsibilities and privileges of his rank. He died in Rome in 1800.
