Margaret M. Amidon

Biography

Margaret M. Amidon was born in 1827 and lived through much of the nineteenth century, witnessing significant changes in American society and culture. Her life spanned from the antebellum period through the Reconstruction era and beyond.

She passed away in 1869 and was interred at Glenwood Cemetery, where her memory is preserved. Though limited biographical details survive, her life represents the experiences of women during a transformative period in the nation's history.
