Biography

Margit Kárászi took to the Danube in her youth, emerging as a determined presence among the women who proved the value of discipline, teamwork, and calm focus in Hungarian rowing.

Outside of regattas she quietly encouraged new crews, teaching that resilience and mutual trust were as vital as strength; she rests now in the New Public Cemetery, where fellow athletes remember her steady example.
