Biography
Maria Benedikta Gräfin von Schönborn-Wiesentheid (1896–1957) was a member of the prominent Schönborn-Wiesentheid family, one of the notable aristocratic houses of Central Europe. She lived through the dramatic political and social transformations of the twentieth century, witnessing the decline of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the emergence of modern Czechoslovakia.
Gräfin von Schönborn-Wiesentheid maintained her dignity and heritage throughout a period of unprecedented change. She was interred in Břevnov cemetery in Prague, where she remains commemorated as a woman of noble lineage and grace.
