Biography
Marie Calma was a Czech writer whose literary contributions enriched the cultural landscape of twentieth-century Czechoslovakia. Her work as a writer reflected the vibrant intellectual and artistic traditions of Czech society during a period of significant national development.
Calma's career spanned much of the twentieth century, a time of tremendous change and challenge in Central Europe. She was laid to rest at Olšany Cemetery, a final resting place that honors her contributions to Czech letters and culture.
