Biography

Marie Dressler (1868-1934) rose from vaudeville and Broadway to become one of Hollywood's most beloved performers, winning the Academy Award for Best Actress for "Min and Bill" while delighting audiences with her comic timing and room-filling personality.

She is remembered fondly at Forest Lawn Memorial Park for the warmth she brought to the stage, the screen, and the friends she kept outside of the spotlight.
