Marie Étienne François Henri Baudrand (1774–1848) was a French military officer whose career encompassed the Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars, as well as the subsequent Restoration period. His long life witnessed the most dramatic transformations in French military history, from the levée en masse to the professional armies of the nineteenth century.
Baudrand's service to France during these tumultuous decades earned him a place of honor at Père Lachaise Cemetery. His burial there reflects the esteem in which military service was held during this formative period of French national development.
