Marie Majerová (1882–1967) was a distinguished Czech screenwriter whose career spanned the development of cinema in Central Europe. Her work contributed significantly to Czech film and literary culture during the early-to-mid twentieth century, establishing her as an important figure in the nation's cultural heritage.

Majerová's contributions to screenwriting reflected the artistic and intellectual currents of her era. She was laid to rest at Olšany Cemetery in Prague, one of the city's most significant burial grounds, where many notable Czech cultural figures are commemorated.
