Biography

Marie von Lamberg (1833–1876) served as a lady-in-waiting, a position of considerable prestige and responsibility in the royal or noble household she attended. Her role placed her at the center of court life during the mid-nineteenth century, where she would have been privy to matters of significance and trusted with important duties.

Marie's service as a lady-in-waiting reflected her family's standing and her own refined education and deportment. She was interred in the funeral chapel of St. Teresa in Nečtiny following her death in 1876, a dignified resting place befitting her station and years of devoted service.
