Biography
Marius Russo’s steady left arm helped the New York Yankees claim World Series titles in 1939 and 1941, and teammates trusted him for big innings because of his calm control on the mound.
After baseball he settled near Fort Myers, where he stayed close to the game while enjoying the quiet of Florida and now rests at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens.
