Mark Baldwin

Biography

Mark Baldwin, born in 1863, thrilled baseball fans as a dedicated player whose presence energized the early days of professional teams and taught perseverance on and off the diamond.

Following his playing career he continued to inspire young athletes and neighbors alike, and in 1929 he was honored with a final resting place at Allegheny Cemetery.
