Biography

Marko Tsepenkov was a distinguished Bulgarian writer whose literary works enriched the cultural heritage of Bulgaria throughout the 19th and early 20th centuries. Born in 1829, he dedicated his life to preserving and celebrating Bulgarian folklore, traditions, and national identity through his writing.

Tsepenkov's contributions to Bulgarian literature and culture remained influential long after his death in 1920. He was buried in Sofia, where his memory continues to be honored as an important figure in Bulgaria's literary and cultural renaissance.
