Marsena R. Patrick

Biography

Marsena R. Patrick, a West Point graduate, served with distinction as provost marshal for the Army of the Potomac during the Civil War, bringing order and fairness to deeply challenging duties.

He carried those same principles into civilian life, fostering mutual respect in every command entrusted to him, and he now rests at Dayton National Cemetery.
