Martha Angle Dorsett

Biography

Martha Angle Dorsett (1851-1918) broke ground as one of Minnesota's earliest women lawyers, working tirelessly to open the profession to women and to ensure fair treatment for her clients.

She also lent her voice to civic organizations, and Lakewood Cemetery preserves the memory of her perseverance and compassion.
